Hi, I'm Murat!
I've been teaching Kurdish for many years now, and it's something I'm truly passionate about. I'm originally from Erzurum, Turkey, and over time, I’ve focused on developing my skills in Kurmanji Kurdish.
As I gained experience, I started creating my own teaching materials to help make learning easier and more engaging.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN:
FOUNDATIONS OF KURDISH LANGUAGE
Learn the Kurdish alphabet, pronunciation, and common exceptions. Master essential phrases, greetings, numbers, dates, and telling time to build a strong foundation for reading, writing, and speaking Kurdish.
GRAMMAR
Form sentences with “there is/are,” “I have/you have,” and “am/is/are,” including negatives. Practice present and past tense verbs and key grammar points like prepositions, adjectives, and comparative forms for clear communication.
PRACTICAL COMMUNICATION
Engage in conversations about daily life, your day, surroundings, weather, and plans. Learn vocabulary for travel, directions, transportation, hotels, and shopping to handle everyday situations confidently.
KURDISH CULTURE & HERITAGE
Explore cultural insights and practice dialogues to communicate naturally. By the end, you’ll hold everyday conversations and connect meaningfully with Kurdish language and culture.
